Fun things to do with an exchange student?
I'm 16 and a junior in High school, next month my family is hosting an exchange student from Germany. I live in Salt Lake City, what are some thing my family I should take him to? We are going to a Jazz game and I know there is a pizza party planned at a local pizza place? What do German teens do for fun? And how different will it be here? Thanks!

I think you should consider the type of things a German student would do for fun but I think you should focus on showing them around your home. If you were in germany you wouldn't want to spend the whole time doing American things would you? Show him what people in the U. S. do and have fun!!

Sam gave a great answer. A German teen will be very interested in what you like to do. Other things that could interest him are the natural wonders in your area. Take him into the mountains to see the canyons. Take him to Antelope Island State Park and to see the Great Salt lake. Germany is very built up, so he will probably be interested in the wilderness in your area. He will be interested in the Mormon Temple and a walking tour of downtown, might be a fun thing to do to.
