Oberhausen, Germany tips and advice for a foreign exchange student?
I am a foreign exchange student from the USA going to Oberhausen, Germany for 10 months (leaving in August). I was wondering if anyone from the area (or exchange students in general) could give me some tips on the city/the experience as a whole??

Oberhausen is in the Ruhrgebiet used to be Germany's economical heart due to its coal and steel industry but since decades these industriues are declining .
